500 Lake Shore Drive

Rising 45 stories and encompassing more than 550,000 square feet, 500 N. Lake Shore is a landmark luxury apartment tower delivering 500 new residences to Chicago’s highly sought-after Streeterville neighborhood. Located along North Lake Shore Drive between East Grand Avenue and East Illinois Avenue, the 485-foot high-rise offers sweeping views of the Chicago skyline, Navy Pier, and Lake Michigan.

Our Magiglide team manufactured custom bifold door systems for this LEED® Silver–targeted multifamily development, providing space-efficient, high-performance interior door solutions designed for modern high-rise living. The building incorporates a high-performance envelope, living green wall, green roof, energy-efficient building systems, and native landscaping—features that align with sustainable construction practices and long-term durability.

Designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz and managed by Related Management, the tower includes 2,500 square feet of retail space, a 430-car parking garage, and an extensive amenity program. Throughout the residential units and shared spaces, our precision-manufactured bifold doors support efficient layouts, refined aesthetics, and the functional demands of luxury urban living.
